D.A.R.L.N. Donations was founded in 2019 from a deeply personal place in my life. My journey toward creating this organization began after witnessing my mother navigate the challenges of kidney disease. Watching someone you love endure long-term illness changes the way you see the world. It opened my eyes to the emotional, physical, and financial burdens that families often face while supporting loved ones through chronic medical conditions.
Years later, when I became a mother myself, my perspective expanded even more. Experiencing postpartum and the transition into motherhood showed me how deeply mothers need support emotionally, mentally, and practically. While motherhood is beautiful, it can also be overwhelming, and many women navigate that season without the resources or community they truly need.
Those two life experiences supporting my mother through kidney disease and becoming a mother myself shaped the heart behind D.A.R.L.N. Donations.
I created this organization to provide compassionate, purpose-driven support for mothers, families, young women, individuals impacted by kidney disease, and seniors within our communities. Through our initiatives, we aim to meet real needs, provide meaningful resources, and remind people that they are not alone during life’s most vulnerable and transformative seasons.

D.A.R.L.N. Donations is a community-centered nonprofit organization established in 2019 to provide compassionate, purpose-driven support across generations serving mothers, children, young ladies, individuals impacted by kidney disease, and the elderly during some of life’s most critical and formative seasons. Our organization was created to address gaps often overlooked in traditional support systems. We recognized the urgent need for postpartum resources for mothers, educational and developmental opportunities for young ladies before college, support for individuals and families impacted by kidney disease, and dignified care and connection for seniors.
Recognizing the emotional challenges children may face during hospitalization, our Little Brave Wonders initiative was created to bring comfort, joy, and encouragement to children receiving medical care during the holiday season. By providing toys and thoughtful gifts, we aim to uplift young patients and their families, reminding them that even in difficult moments, they are seen, supported, and cared for. In addition, we are committed to honoring and serving the elderly, particularly those in nursing homes and care facilities. Through outreach initiatives, we work to restore a sense of dignity, connection, and compassion, affirming that every stage of life holds value and deserves intentional care. At its core, D.A.R.L.N. Donations exists to meet real needs with intentional care, creating programs that uplift, educate, and restore hope across every stage of life.
For mothers, particularly first-time and postpartum mothers, D.A.R.L.N. Donations provides support that acknowledges both the physical and emotional realities of motherhood. Postpartum challenges, including postpartum depression, impact many families within our communities, yet access to resources, supplies, and supportive services remains limited. In addition to maternal care initiatives, we are committed to advancing educational access for single mothers through scholarship support, helping mothers pursue higher education, career advancement, and long-term stability for themselves and their families. Through the Ora Bell Strong Foundation, D.A.R.L.N. Donations supports individuals and communities affected by kidney disease and renal failure. This initiative exists to raise awareness and mobilize resources that assist renal care facilities and the broader kidney disease community. Support may include contributing to patient-centered resources, facility needs, comfort items, educational materials, and other forms of assistance that enhance care, dignity, and quality of life for those navigating renal treatment and long-term illness. D.A.R.L.N. Donations also places a strong emphasis on youth development and education. Through the R.U.B.I.E.S. Educational Alliance, we provide young ladies with a structured, educational-based initiative focused on leadership development, life skills, academic readiness, character building, and personal growth, equipping them with essential tools before they transition into college and adulthood.
